Our tribute to The Bard celebrating the 401st Anniversary of his death! Music inspired by Shakespeare, by English composers: high jinks from Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, stirring choruses from A Shakespeare Ode by ‘The English Mozart’, Thomas Linley, and Vaughan Williams’ In Windsor Forest, with solo songs performed by Choir members.

    Join us for Music for a Summer’s Evening, a delightful programme of choral and traditional music celebrating the warmth and colour of summer. Featuring John Rutter’s charming The Sprig of Thyme folk-song cycle alongside beloved traditional songs and instrumental favourites, this uplifting concert promises melody, nostalgia and a relaxed midsummer atmosphere.

    Concert Tickets: £15 (£5 for 18s and under)

    Please note that there will be Interval refreshments (tea and coffee) with donations welcome; a raffle with tickets costing £1.
