Singers of all ages 17+ are invited to join us for an informal and purposeful day’s singing.

The work studied is always the main item in the summer concert. Participants are invited to join the choir for rehearsals after Easter and to sing in the concert (reduced subscription).

Gounod’s St Cecilia Mass is a charming work, ideal for a day’s exploration.

The registration fee of £15 (£5 for 18s and under) includes music loan on the day, voice part sound files in advance on request, and tea/coffee and biscuits.

Featuring John Rutter’s charming The Sprig of Thyme folk-song cycle alongside beloved traditional songs and instrumental favourites, this uplifting concert promises melody, nostalgia and a relaxed midsummer atmosphere.

    Please note that there will be Interval refreshments (tea and coffee) with donations welcome; a raffle with tickets costing £1.
