There’s an innovation this year as the Singing Day features music we’re singing in our Summer Concert. Singers of all ages and abilities are warmly welcome.

A chance to sing some wonderful choruses from Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream and from a A Shakespeare Ode by the prodigiously gifted Thomas Linley, born in 1756.

Registration Form

Registration fee of £15 includes music loan, tea/coffee and biscuits.

    and a selection of traditional songs and music.

    Join us for Music for a Summer’s Evening, a delightful programme of choral and traditional music celebrating the warmth and colour of summer. Featuring John Rutter’s charming The Sprig of Thyme folk-song cycle alongside beloved traditional songs and instrumental favourites, this uplifting concert promises melody, nostalgia and a relaxed midsummer atmosphere.

    Concert Tickets: £15 (£5 for 18s and under)

    Please note that there will be Interval refreshments (tea and coffee) with donations welcome; a raffle with tickets costing £1.
